Assessor Office

Notice

Attention all Parke County Personal Property Tax Payers. The Parke County Assessor’s Office sent out Personal Property Letters on January 5, 2021 and in that letter, a web address was given in which you could file your Personal Property Return online. However, we were supplied with the wrong web address. If you wish to file your return online the correct web address is: https://ppopin.in.gov . We certainly apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused anyone. If you filed on the other website provided earlier, we will NOT receive that return and you must refile on the correct web address.

If you would rather file on paper forms and mail them to the Assessor’s Office that is absolutely fine and you may obtain the forms at the following URL: https://www.in.gov/dlgf/4971.htm . If you do not have internet or are unable to obtain the forms online please feel free to contact our office and we will make arrangements to get the forms to you. Also, as a side note, if you use an accountant your accountant will already have access to these forms.

You only need to worry about this notice if you received a letter from the Assessor’s Office regarding a Personal Property filing.
